Young Adult conferences are mostly led by the participants as the conversation takes a turn with every contribution and builds upon the last. We aim to create space into which we share viewpoints, opinions and build from one another. There is singing, cooking, joking, laughing, as well as serious contemplation of many topics, but centered around our theme of “Why Adventure.”
Gather together as a community for a weekend of contemplation, conversation, deep listening to each other and your own heart.
Sometimes it seems that life just happens to us.
How do we sense the moment that we need to step out on our own to begin something new or in a new way? When this moment arrives it is probably daunting, exciting—even frightening. What voices do we listen to as we gather the courage to set out?
We will create the space together to consider what strength you need to continue adventuring onwards on your life’s path. Where might this strength come from?
We will hang out together for the weekend— cooking, catching up, singing, playing, contemplating, and creating.
